Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's mother, made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role she received an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second youngest recipient in Oscar the history of Oscars. After responding to a call to auditions open at age nine, and with little previous experience in acting when she was selected for the role of Flora McGrath part. Flora was the daughter of the Scottish pianist who was mute. They relocated to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century to plan a wedding. After moving to America, she was a teenager.
