Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother hails from Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was a struggle and she didn't take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in productions of the school. When she was 16, she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as an experienced model.
