Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile character. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. She graduated in 1986 in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. Her work was highly praised, including both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
